CGHR’s mission is to use research as a vehicle to improve the health of populations in Ghana. We aim to:

  • conduct high-quality research that advances global health with specific emphasis on malaria, HIV/AIDS and neglected tropical diseases
  • foster partnerships to facilitate evidence-based implementation designs that delivers measurable public health impact at the community level
  • inform and educate the media, government, multi-lateral agencies, the general public and private sector donors about global health issues and solutions
  • facilitate the training of the next generation of researchers and leaders in global public health.
