Minimising drug resistance

Inappropriate or excessive antibiotic use results in antibiotic resistance. This means infections can become increasingly difficult or impossible to treat. Antibiotic resistance is more commonly observed in countries with high rates of antibiotic prescription. Our research assesses strategies for reducing irrational use of antibiotics by government and private providers, as well as users.
